TRADING TERMS AND CONDITIONS “ANNEXURE B” AS AT 1 MARCH 2007

  1. This warranty is subject to a maintenance agreement as set out in the schedule on the back of all warranty cards supplied with the units. Should the equipment not be serviced as per the schedule, this warranty will become null and void.
  2. This warranty covers defects as a result of incorrect assembly, defective workmanship or faulty material. It does not extend to repairs, replacement of spare parts, maintenance or service necessitated directly or indirectly by wear and tear, maltreatment of the product, misuse, improper installation or operation, neglect, connection to an incorrect voltage, damage caused by lightning, accidental damage or work affected by persons other than an authorized Samsung Agent. In cases of dispute, repairs, replacement of spare parts, maintenance and service shall be deemed to be beyond the scope of this warranty unless the purchaser is able to prove the contrary.
  3. During the period of the warranty, faults covered by the warranty will be repaired as per the schedule by the installing dealer. Spare parts necessary will be supplied by the relevant Samsung Service Centre.
  4. LISINFO 34 INVESTMENTS (PTY) LTD shall not be responsible, without limitation, for any charges for dismantling or reassembling the air-conditioners for repair, any transportation or storage expenses, injury to person or property, work stoppage impairment of other goods, breach of contract, negligence or other such action as may be deemed or alleged to be cause of a loss or damage to buyer, its agents or customers.
  5. This warranty will lapse if any repairs are carried out by any person other than any person authorized by LISINFO 34 INVESTMENTS (PTY) LTD.
  6. Warranties are not transferable. It is valid only for the original purchaser of the Product.
  7. Any repairs carried out under this warranty will not extend the period of the warranty in any way.
  8. Neither LISINFO 34 INVESTMENTS(PTY)LTD nor authorized service agents shall be responsible at any time during or after the period of this warranty for any loss or damage of whatsoever nature, whether general, special or consequential which may be caused or sustained by the purchaser, whether arising from, connected with or relating to any defect, fault or lack in the Product, whether such inability is complete or partial.
  9. This warranty replaces all common law and other rights or remedies which may otherwise be available to the purchaser.

STOCK: The Company has a no-return policy. For any stock returns for whatever reason, a minimum of a 5% handling fee will be charged and added to your account.

WARRANTY:
FIRST 24 MONTHS = Parts only
MONTHS 25-60 = Compressor only All warranties are subject to our Warranty Terms & Conditions as per the attached “Annexure B”.

***PLEASE NOTE – Labour cannot be claimed from 1 March 2007

    Spare parts are available from our authorised Spares Centres around the country. Your claim will be paid directly by the Authorised Spares Centre on receipt of the following information:

    A completed Samsung Warranty form and an invoice from your company, using the above parameters, charging the ASC.

    Claims will be rejected if the following fields are not completed:

    • Model number
    • Full serial number
    • Customer details
    • Spare parts exchanged
    • Customer complaint & service performed
    • Date the unit was purchased
    • Date service was requested
    • Time spent on each job
